Thoroughly enjoyed the Fulton. Ridge series by Laura Domino. Each story was easy reading and a full interesting story full of intrigue and real life heart issues. Thankfully we have a gracious Lord and Savior to learn on. These books were excellent.
I very much enjoyed these books. They were cute love stories with a little suspense thrown in the last one. However, I learned two powerful things. In book 2, I loved the way Hannah didn’t just read the Bible. She journaled about it and applied it to her life. Also, in book 3, I love how Miss Maggie heard from the Lord and told the people exactly what He wanted them to know, even if it was hard. But now the only thing is that I want to learn about some of the other Fulton Ridge characters. Very good!
I’m not sure if I was reading the same books as the other reviewers but I couldn’t even get through the first book. I hate to not finish. I set the book down to read a couple of others and then came back to it and still didn’t finish and that’s rare for me. It was so slow and the writing was pretty stilted for me. I didn’t connect at all with any of the characters. I flat out didn’t like Benita.
These three books tell wonderful stories of people that have issues just like we all do. Each one deals with different issues that can’t really be resolved without leaning on God for guidance. Each of these books are available separately as well. I enjoyed them all. I have posted individual reviews for each book as well.
I read each of these individual books as they came out, but in an era of binging on Netflix, this box set is a great opportunity to binge on some great stories. Laura Domino writes clean romance novels that adds suspense to the narrative. It’s far more interesting than novels like that which I’ve read before. It’s summer and a good time to take all 3 novels on vacation with you. Enjoy them. I did.
I only read the first book and it was hard to finish. It is so slow and the dialogue was hard to follow and the characters were not well defined, I could not love them. The writing was very confusing.
But other than the same town and some minor crossovers, the books didn't have a lot in common.I adored Maggie. Everyone needs a wise older person encouraging their walk with God.
This boxset follows three different Christian love stories and at times even quotes scripture. I adore the author's ability to incorporate sacred text into the storyline. Would recommend for someone of the Christian faith who wants some easy, clean, and wholesome romance stories to read.
